THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK
A play by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett
Based upon Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl
Newly Adapted by Wendy Kesselman
September 21 – October 21
Directed by Jon Cranney

In this transcendentally powerful new adaptation including previously unpublished portions of her diary, Anne Frank emerges from history a living, intensely gifted young girl, confronting the increasing horror of her time with astonishing honesty, wit, and determination. An impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a hidden storage attic, this extraordinary play captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence—their fear, hope, laughter, and grief. “A sensitive, stirring, and thoroughly engaging new adaptation.”—New York Newsday
