Yellow Tree Theatre Auditions

Yellow Tree Theatre is holding Equity and Non-Equity auditions for the first two productions of its upcoming 2019/2020 Season. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time & Another Miracle on Christmas Lake. All ethnicities are strongly encouraged to audition for all roles. Please sign up with the audition link below. Actors will have two minutes and can perform either one or two contemporary monologues in that time. Please bring a current headshot/resume stapled together.

Attention actors…Tuesday May 7th is full. a second day of auditions has been added on Wednesday, May 8th 10:00 - 3:00pm.

General auditions will be held on Tuesday, May 7th 11:00am - 7:00pm. & Wed., May 8th 10:00am-3:00pm

When auditions slots are full a waiting list will be started.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

Christopher Boone: Male, mid-late teens. (Looking to cast actor in 20s to play younger.)
Siobhan: Female, late 20’s. Christopher's para-professional and mentor at school.
Ed: Male, 40’s. Christopher’s Dad, a boiler engineer.
Judy: Female, 40’s. Christopher’s Mom.
Ensemble: There are 35 other characters that will be performed by an ensemble of 5 actors.

Štefan Štefanjovak: 30s. Hollywood location scout, over-the-top Eastern European accent.
Gunther: 30s-50s. Volunteer Police Chief. Lives in his mom’s basement. MN accent.

Your favorite characters return in this hilarious sequel to the smash hit Miracle on Christmas Lake! This time around and with a brand new baby in tow, Colin and Tess have more than a theater to save; their beloved town of Christmas Lake is under threat of annexation. After saving the theater from financial ruin last year, Colin and Tess have been busy settling into Christmas Lake and adjusting to their new role as parents. Reptile enthusiast Martha Knutson has been dating her crush Neil Gunderson for a year and is eagerly waiting for him to pop the question. Neil, busy with his piano tuning career, is oblivious to Martha's yearning, leaving Gunther to swoop in and sweep Martha off her feet. A ridiculous and zany holiday hit that will charm the pants off even the Scrooge-iest Scrooge!
