2019 Summer Treehouse Theater Camps

Join us for an uber fun-tastic one-week multi-faceted theater camp for students entering grades 4 - 8. This exciting camp offers students a well-rounded theater education experience and tons of fun along the way! Guided by an experienced professional teaching artist, students will gain confidence on stage and explore the many facets of theater including: acting, playwriting, improv, movement, technical theater and more! AND…Yellow Tree founder and playwright Jessica Lind Peterson will write an original short play that students will perform for family and friends at the end of the week on Yellow Tree’s stage! Could this camp get any more awesome?!

June 10 - 14, 9:00am - 3:30pm (THIS CAMP IS FULL!)
(Final showcase for friends & family will be Friday, June 14th @ 2:00pm.)

$200 per student

Meet our teaching artist, Marci Lucht! Marci is an actor and teaching artist based in the Twin Cities. An alumnus of Augsburg, she has worked as an educator with the Guthrie Theater, Matchbox Theater, and Hennepin Theater Trust as well as within the St. Paul & Minneapolis school districts, Windom Bicultural Learning Center and Penumbra Theater's Summer Institute, a youth centered social justice intensive for emerging activist artists. Professional theater credits include: Full Circle Theater, Classical Actors Ensemble, Old Log Theater, and Actor's Theater of Minnesota.
